Deyan Vitanov is a four-time entrepreneur. Most recently, he co-founded Indexed, a leading provider of bespoke web automation solutions.
Previously, Deyan served as CMO of gaming unicorn Playco, which acquired his third startup, Chobolabs, in 2019. His other ventures include Philanthropedia, acquired by GuideStar in 2011, and CPP-Home, acquired in 2003.
Deyan’s interest in technology was ignited when his father gifted him his first PC on his ninth birthday. This sparked a love for programming, which he regards as the closest thing to magic in the modern world. He began coding both for fun and competitively, a passion that eventually led to the creation of his first startup.
This initial venture fueled a lifelong passion for entrepreneurship, inspiring him to relocate to Silicon Valley in 2007 and enroll at Stanford for his master's degree. He continues to reside in the Bay Area with his wife, son, and dog.
Vitanov has a fondness for assisting fellow founders in their journey to success. He frequently speaks and writes about entrepreneurship, technology, and leadership. In his spare time, he enjoys reading, meditating, exercising, watching StarCraft, spending time with his family, and petting every dog he encounters.
